In the global outdoor market, Alpha provides a complete line of rugged AC powering solutions. This includes hardened outdoor enclosures, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) modules, specialty batteries, accessories and generators that can be custom integrated to meet the application.

A truly rugged UPS system has many unique characteristics including conformal coated printed circuit boards (PCBs) that protect against exposure to moisture and dust and carefully selected components to operate reliably in extreme temperatures.

In addition, products and solutions are designed to meet outdoor installation, shock and vibration standards, as well as extreme temperature conditions. Alpha’s UPS solutions also offer communications capabilities including remote monitoring via SNMP web-based communication. Real-time alerts and reports on UPS status can be sent to four different email addresses, or can be monitored from your PC, Internet connected mobile phone or PDA, each with selectable event severity levels to trigger different notifications of events, faults and alarms.
